A Restaurant with Timeless & Traditional Taste
At The Tin Plate Fine Food & Spirits, we're proud to honor Elwood's rich industrial history. Our restaurant stands as a tribute to the American Sheet and Tin Plate Company, once the world's largest tin plating factory and a significant employer in the area. Established in the 1890s by two Richmond businessmen, the mill brought jobs, growth, and an influx of skilled workers, many from Wales. Today, our restaurant, located near the original mill site, offers a warm, nostalgic atmosphere with a nod to the hardworking spirit of those early tin plate pioneers. We invite you to enjoy a unique dining experience, immersed in a piece of local history.

Was in town for a golf tournament in Yorktown and stayed at The Plum House. Went here after the round and we really enjoyed the food! Samantha was our server and she made sure that my son always had plenty of lemonade.
